The Glitz Contest

The Glitz Contest is an initiative to groom the innovative promotion of the African Child.
And starting now would be called erred to as the Organization, whose registered office is Abuja. This contest is a platform where kids can showcase their talents and uniqueness.

Our Organization's core objective is to groom, build and promote talents among kids in Nigeria. We aim to make our community and nation better by fostering the empowerment of gifted children and enabling the growth of the children's entertainment industry.

The Glitz groom is the organizer of the "The Glitz Contest(the Competition)." The Glitz Contest will be conducted online, and the participants must be from the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The participants are also expected to, through their influence, get friends and family to vote for their child.

The participants shall be construed and evaluated according to applicable Nigerian laws. And entry into this Competition means that you have accepted the rules of the Competition (the "competition rules").

Eligibility

To be eligible for this Competition, the parent or guardian must:

  • Ensure that the child is a legal citizen of Nigeria

  • ● Ensure that the child is between the ages of 0 and 14years.

  • ● Ensure that the child has a valid Birth Certificate. The certificate can be requested, at any time, during the Competition.

  • ● Ensure that all information submitted is accurate, current, and complete and that they have full rights to the images and details/data uploaded. The Organization using the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party's copyright or other intellectual property rights.

  • ● Not be related to employees of the Organization, as employees of the Organization, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising, promotional agencies, and the household members of any of the above are not eligible to participate in the Competition.

  • ● Agree that the Organization has the full right at any time to require proof of identity and eligibility to participate in the Competition. You shall be disqualified if you cannot provide proof of eligibility.

  • ● Ensure that all the requested information is truthful, complete, accurate, and not misleading.

  • ● In their sole discretion, they agree that the Organization reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading personal details.

Your Expected Conduct:

  • ● By registering for this Competition, you agree to be bound by the Competition Rules posted on the Glitz Contest website and social media handles.

  • ● You agree to be bound by all the Organization's decisions to be binding and final.

  • The Organization reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who is found to:

    ● Have violated the rules.

  • ● Be meddling or trying to interfere with the smooth operation of the Competition.

  • ● Violate the terms of service, use conditions, general rules or guidelines, property or service. Or also act in a disruptive manner to harass or abuse other participants.

  • Caution

    IF ANY CONTESTANT BY ANY MEANS PURPOSEFULLY SABOTAGES THE COMPETITION, ITS WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLES, OR ANY RELATED WEBSITE, OR UNDERMINES THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF THE COMPETITION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE LAW PERMITS THE ORGANIZATION TO TAKE EVERY NECESSARY STEP, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION, TO MAKE AMENDS ON ALL DAMAGES INCURRED BY THE ACTIONS OF THE CONTESTANT. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY ANY CONTESTANT DISCOVERED FOUND BREAKING OR HAVE BROKEN THE RULES FROM THE COMPETITION.

    All Contestants must behave appropriately and obey all the CompetitionCompetition rules during the various stages of the Competition.

Important Information

● The Organization will not accept responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, online computer systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines to related to or resulting from participation in the Competition.

● We shall not be held liable for any copyrighted material which an entrant has uploaded during the Competition. All entrants must upload pictures or videos to which they either own the copyright or have obtained permission from the original copyright owner.

● The Organization has the right to modify or terminate the Competition without notice. In the event of such change or termination, by participating in the Competition, Entrants have agreed to relinquish their rights regarding the Competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organization.

● To participate in the Competition means to accept and abide by the Terms and Conditions of the Competition.

● The Organization will add the personal information provided by the Contestant to its database and provide personal data to the third parties it engages for promotion and activation projects.

● The Organization has the right to delete any information uploaded by a Contestant believed to be illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or is otherwise inappropriate for children's Competition.

● The Organization can use the images taken of the winner for publicity purposes in any manner it deems fit, without further remuneration being made payable to the winner.

● The Organization, its associated companies, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever the Entrant may suffer.

● The decision of the panel of Judges during the various stages and grand finale phase is based on Votes acquired and is FINAL.

Indemnification by Entrant.

By entering the Competition, the Entrant releases the organizers from all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind to the Entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Prize, participation in the Competition, any breach of the Competition Rules, or in any Prize-related activity. The Entrant agrees to fully indemnify Releases from all claims by third parties relating to the Competition, without limitation

Rights Clearance

By providing the entries to the Organization in connection with the Competition, each Entrant shall retain all right, title, and interest (including copyright) in and to the entries and shall grant to the Organization a worldwide, gratuitous, irrevocable, and exclusive license to copy, use, modify, reproduce, display, adapt and transmit the entries for use in all media now known or hereafter devised in perpetuity beginning on the date of entry, including, but not limited to, in connection with the administration, promotion, and exploitation of the Competition.
